Commercial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our team in Reading / Finchampstead.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the commercial department of projects, assisting with tasks related to contract management, procurement, financial administration, and documentation control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Procurement: Support procurement activities, such as soliciting bids, evaluating proposals, and preparing contract documents for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Financial Administration: Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures, maintaining accurate records of project-related expenses.
- Documentation Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including contract files, correspondence, and amendments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in business administration, construction management, or related field is advantageous.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management software.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive commercial information.
