About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, promoting their independence and well-being, and providing emotional support and companionship when needed. Your compassion, empathy, and ability to build strong relationships with our clients and their families will be essential in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and managing incontinence
  • Support clients with medication management and administration
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to clients' dietary requirements
  • Provide assistance with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
  • Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients with varying needs and abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel to various locations
