About the Role

We're seeking a talented Designer to join our team at Hearst UK, working on the prestigious ELLE and Harper's Bazaar brands. As a key member of our Art Hub, you'll be responsible for designing and laying out pages for our magazines, maintaining the unique style and identity of each title.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Art Director and Art Editor in designing across all ELLE and Harper's Bazaar platforms and channels.
  • Design and layout pages for print, digital, social, newsletters, events, marketing materials, and internal documents.
  • Collaborate with the art team on general administrative tasks and commission illustrators for features.
  • Develop regular pages and features across all titles, attending art meetings to generate exciting ideas.
  • Work with industry-standard toolsets and structured workflow systems to complete your work.
  • Design for digital, events, and brand marketing as necessary.
About You
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fully adaptable, able to design across all titles on all multi-platform offerings.
  • Able to build close working relationships with the team and understand the vision of each brand.
  • Enthusiasm and endless supply of new ideas, with a passionate approach to work.
  • The ability to think creatively and a strong eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated and experienced in working as a Designer on a publication in the consumer magazine market and digital experience.
