Job Overview

This is a fixed-term opportunity for a Clinical Health Care Support Apprentice to work under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses in the Cancer Services directorate at Swansea Bay University Health Board.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that delivers high-quality patient care while working towards a Level 2 qualification in Clinical Health Care Support.

Awareness of Welsh language skills is desirable, but not essential. A good general standard of education and identified skills are required.

Main Duties:
  • To support the provision of patient care as a member of the healthcare team
  • To follow care plans and record all personally generated observations and documentation

A competitive salary package will be offered, estimated at £18,330-£19,772 per annum, depending on location and experience.
