We're seeking an experienced trainer with a passion for quality assurance to join our team in Birmingham. As a Professional Development Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our learners, empowering them to achieve their goals.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

About the Role:

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for each learner
  • Delivering accredited and non-accredited training programs to adults in various subject areas, including Maths, Digital, Customer Service, Business Administration, Hospitality, and Warehousing & Logistics
  • Ensuring that Maths, English, Digital, Soft Skills, and PDBA themes are embedded into delivery as required or delivered standalone as needed

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 teaching qualification (PTTLS or equivalent) and relevant subject-specific qualifications and/or occupational knowledge/experience
  • English and Maths to at least Functional Skills level 2
  • Level 3 Award Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement or equivalent
  • Level 4 Award in the Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice or equivalent
  • Proven experience of adult or work-based learning, teaching, and assessment
  • IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programs and modern digital technologies
  • A track record of managing and supporting colleagues and learners face-to-face and remotely
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
