Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Assurance Expert to join our team at Counter Terrorism Policing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of materials and standards of delivery across our organisational learning.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing performance frameworks, collecting and analysing data, and presenting results to stakeholders. You will be responsible for setting a strategy and plan for assurance on a periodic basis and managing a network of Subject Matter Experts to help deliver the assurance on time and budget.

You will also be responsible for promoting good practice in the quality assurance of trainers/instructors/presenters and online facilitators, as well as nurturing a proactive, continuous improvement culture across Learning, Training & Exercising within CTP.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and oversee the CTP National Learning, Training & Exercising (LTE) Performance & Assurance framework.
  • Collect data, carry out analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results and recommendations.
  • Set a strategy and plan for assurance on a periodic basis and manage a network of SMEs to help deliver the assurance on time and budget.
  • Promote and lead on national good practice in the quality assurance of police trainers/instructors/presenters and online facilitators.
  • Nurture a proactive, continuous improvement culture across LTE within CTP.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in developing and managing performance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with staff at individual, team, regional, and national level.
  • Ability to promote good practice in quality assurance.
Working Environment

This is a full-time role based at CTU, Birmingham, West Midlands. You will be working closely with colleagues across the counter-terrorism network to identify barriers to data collation and use.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and access to training and development opportunities.
