About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Independent Living Solutions Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to a client with a spinal cord injury, complex regional pain syndrome, and fatigue.

This role involves supporting the client with day-to-day activities as needed, including personal care, domestic tasks, childcare, driving, and assisting with therapy-based activities. The estimated salary for this position is £15.50 per hour (weekdays) and £16.50 per hour (weekends), based on industry standards and location.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that values the importance of care and support. We offer a competitive package, including 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata, pension (subject to qualifying status), and free DBS check. You will be responsible for:
  • Providing physical support and assistance with daily living tasks
  • Assisting with childcare and family duties

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with adults with trauma and an interest in therapy
  • Ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion
  • Essential driving skills and access to a car
  • A valid DBS check
