Job Title: Part Time Cleaner

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Cleaner to join our team at the Australian High Commission. As a Part Time Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the internal areas of the building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained within the internal areas as directed by the supervisor.
  • Complete a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning of the toilets, and any areas inside the building.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with the company's expectations, rules and procedures.
  • Assure the proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, correct use of PPE and safety behavior actions on site.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and manners towards co-workers, clients and any other person within the site and work location.

Person Specification:

  • Good attention to detail with the ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
  • Good communication skills and committed to quality.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment.
  • Able to work without constant supervision and follow the management instructions.
  • Reliable and flexible.
  • Full training will be provided.
