**Job Title:** Educational Infrastructure Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Educational Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team at Planet Education Networks. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our educational facilities in the United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with a focus on educational settings. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £33,000 per annum, based on national averages for a Building Manager position in the UK. This figure may vary depending on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the daily operations of school buildings and grounds
  • Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, and security activities
  • Conduct regular site inspections and complete necessary documentation
  • Manage repairs and maintenance needs promptly

**Safety and Compliance:** Ensure buildings and facilities comply with health and safety regulations, manage fire prevention systems and emergency procedures, conduct regular safety checks, and maintain accurate records.

**Staff Management:** Supervise and coordinate facilities staff, including maintenance, security, and cleaning teams, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations.

**Budget and Resource Management:** Prepare and manage facilities budgets, monitor costs, control expenses, and obtain quotes for building work.

**Stakeholder Management:** Liaise with school administrators, teachers, and other departments regarding facilities needs, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with external contractors and service providers.

**Project Management:** Plan and oversee renovation and refurbishment projects, manage the implementation of new facilities or services, and explore sustainable solutions for building operations.

**Qualifications and Skills:** A relevant degree or professional qualification in facilities management or related field is preferred, along with proficiency in facilities management software and MS Office suite.
