Railway Maintenance Operative

As a key member of the Network Rail team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of Britain's rail network. Our Off Track Operatives work outdoors and around the clock to ensure that railways are clear of vegetation, signals are functioning correctly, and level crossings are in good condition.
Using a mix of new technology and manual inspection, you will support the maintenance and repair of lineside assets, working closely with maintenance teams to identify and address issues. This is a physically demanding role that requires determination and a strong safety ethic, but offers a competitive starting salary and the opportunity to progress to more senior roles.
We are looking for individuals with a full clean driving licence, problem-solving skills, and good communication and teamwork abilities. You will be required to work shift patterns, including days, evenings, and weekends, and to undertake physical manual work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
