Job Title: Part-time Maintenance and Security Officer

Company Overview: Torfaen County Borough Council is a fair and supportive employer committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We are seeking a reliable individual to join our team as a Part-time Maintenance and Security Officer.

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 per annum

Job Description: As a Part-time Maintenance and Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the school premises and ensuring the safety and security of students and staff. Your duties will include site security, cleaning, boiler duties, general maintenance tasks, and minor repairs. You will also be required to cover second caretaker as and when needed.

Working Hours: 2:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesdays, 7:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-7:00pm on Thursdays and Fridays

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintenance or security
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
