Senior Business Development Executive - Industrial Hydraulics

We are seeking an experienced senior sales professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Executive. The successful candidate will have a strong network of customers who buy hydraulic components, including machine tool manufacturers, food processing companies, and industrial hydraulic distributors.

The role involves developing and managing relationships with key accounts, growing the industrial hydraulics market through strategic planning and execution. This is technical solution selling, requiring a mechanical engineering aptitude, but also being an articulate and dynamic salesperson.

As a home-based role, you will spend one day working from your office with four days focusing on developing and managing customers. We anticipate excellent career progression within a large multi-billion manufacturing group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts
  • Grow the industrial hydraulics market through strategic planning and execution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and applications
  • Work closely with the UK Managing Director to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • External sales experience in the mechanical engineering sector
  • Mechanical engineering background or qualification
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop relationships
  • Proven track record of business-to-business sales
  • Dynamic 'can-do' attitude and enthusiasm for sales

Estimated Salary: £90,000+ per annum (experience dependent)
