Senior Process Safety Consultant

BakerRisk Europe, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our team in West London. As a key member of our Process Safety team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients in the EMEA region, facilitating Process Hazard Analyses, Layers of Protection Analyses, and other risk reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Process Safety Risk Management, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the field. They will be comfortable developing long-term client relationships and executing consulting projects, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients in the EMEA region
  • Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses, Layers of Protection Analyses, and other risk reviews
  • Oversee project teams and self-perform key studies
  • Develop long-term client relationships and execute consulting projects

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in a relevant Engineering field
  • 15-20 years Engineering in chemical processing (oil and gas production, refining, petrochemical, hydrogen, renewables, or fertilizer industries are preferred)
  • 10-15 years in Process Safety Risk Management
  • Experience facilitating Process Hazard Analyses, Layers of Protection Analyses, or similar risk reviews
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
