Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Hampshire County Council. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving freshly prepared healthy, nutritious school meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of school meals
  • Work in a busy environment, serving lunch on time
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a catering environment (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety procedures
