Hourly Rate: £11.50 per hour plus 45p mileage allowance

Work Location: Various schools in the area

Hours per week: Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our team as a Mobile Catering Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and serving school meals to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking
  • Serve school meals to students
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Meet the needs of students with dietary requirements
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a catering environment (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and school holidays
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
