**Senior Engineer- Norwich, UK**

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Norwich, UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience working on highways projects.

About the Role:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for assisting in basic planning, monitoring, and programming on site. This includes controlling and minimizing waste, coordinating site engineering control and setting out activities, providing information to operatives and subcontractors, undertaking material reconciliations, ensuring all surveying equipment is calibrated, and carrying out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.

The Site Engineer will also produce 2D and 3D site sketches, support the Site Agent in project planning and coordination, coordinate subcontractors to meet project deadlines, draft, review, and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP's), ensure adherence to ITP's and engineering standards, update project schedules, and attend coordination meetings.

Requirements:

  • Advanced setting out techniques
  • Relevant Civil Engineering experience (Preferred Highways, will accept experience in Rail, water or aviation)
  • Problem solving skills
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher
  • SMSTS
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • Office 365 expertise/CAD
