Special Needs Teaching Assistant Lead

About the RoleJasmine Hall School in Derby is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant Lead to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide leadership and guidance to other support staff, ensuring that pupils with significant needs receive the highest level of support.
You will work closely with a small group of pupils, providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual EHCPs. Your role will involve assisting with differentiated learning activities, implementing strategies to support communication, sensory processing, and emotional regulation, and promoting positive interactions among pupils.
You will also be responsible for working closely with the class teacher and therapists to deliver integrated support, including speech, occupational, and behavioural therapies. Additionally, you will monitor and document progress and behaviours, contributing to assessments and reviews of EHCPs.
