The estimated salary for this position is around $115,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Key duties and responsibilities include establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers, deploying Ansys' well-defined customer engagement process, and clearly presenting the value of company's products/services.

As a Technical Sales Consultant, you should have a strong understanding of engineering analysis and technology, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with at least 1+ years of experience in technical, business or sales positions is required. Travel requirements are up to 50%, with an emphasis on office-based working when not at customer site.
