About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you'll oversee the Cellular Pathology Team, ensuring seamless delivery of quality patient-focused services. Your expertise will help drive innovative ideas and improve our services to match the rapid pace of growth in diagnostic advances. The successful applicant will possess excellent working knowledge of Cellular Pathology, effective leadership skills, and the ability to interpret and present performance data.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you'll need:
  • A Registered Scientist qualification with the HCPC
  • Highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theoretical knowledge and practical experience
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Effective communication and performance data interpretation skills
  • Ability to participate in the Trust's On Call Manager rota
