About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Education Risk Consultant to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of health and safety and risk management consultancy services to our clients in the Higher Education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and formulate risk management strategies to ensure the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors.
  • Deliver training events on various health and safety and risk management topics to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare proposals for clients, tailored to their specific needs, to provide expert advice on health and safety and risk management.
  • Conduct detailed health and safety and risk management liability reviews and produce high-quality written reports with risk mitigation recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.
About You
  • NEBOSH / IOSH Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Higher Education Risk Management and Health and Safety Practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of legislative requirements and best practice guidelines.
  • Familiarity with legal liability principles and processes.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to new information and ideas.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
