Job Title: MHE Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MHE Driver to join our team at Challenge-TRG Recruitment. As an MHE Driver, you will be responsible for operating manual handling equipment, particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers, and Reach trucks, in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating MHE safely and efficiently
  • Manoeuvring forklifts in a busy warehouse environment
  • Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets
  • Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
  • Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
  • Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
  • Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous MHE experience required within a Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment
  • Must be able to work at height
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Ability to follow H&S procedures
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Must be able to speak and understand English language
  • Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours
  • Must be able to work weekends as needed
