Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MHE Driver to join our team in a well-established operation in Berkshire. As a MHE Driver, you will be responsible for operating manual handling equipment, particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers, and Reach trucks. You will also be required to manoeuvre forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment, safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets, and move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating manual handling equipment, particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers, and Reach trucks
- Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets
- Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
- Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
Requirements:
- Previous MHE experience required within a Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment
- Must be able to work at height
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Ability to follow H&S procedures
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Must be able to speak and understand English language
- Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours
- Must be able to work weekends as needed
