Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as an Academic Physiotherapy Lecturer at the University of Brighton. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students across our BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, pre-registration MSc Physiotherapy, and Post Graduate programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students in clinical and academic settings
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
  • Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy curriculum
  • Supervise and mentor students in clinical placements
  • Participate in departmental and faculty-wide initiatives

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Experience in clinical supervision and teaching
  • Understanding of principles of learning and teaching in higher education
  • Ability to contribute to core areas of the physiotherapy curriculum

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Higher Education teaching qualification
  • HEA Fellowship
  • Postgraduate qualifications and an active research portfolio
