We are seeking an exceptional Band 6 Specialist Nurse Practitioner to lead our Acute Pain Management Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing acute pain.
The successful candidate will possess a valid NMC registration, independent non-medical prescribing qualification, and post-registration qualification in pain management at Degree/Masters level. Significant clinical experience in managing acute pain and recent teaching experience are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Independently manage a caseload of patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care needs.
- Provide specialist advice and support to manage acute pain and complex symptoms in an acute hospital setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless discharge planning and effective communication among healthcare teams.
This is a part-time position (30 hours/week) with a competitive salary of £41,618 - £50,302 per annum pro rata. We offer a dynamic work environment that values flexibility and work-life balance. In addition, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development through regular training and mentoring programs.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work effectively as part of a team while practicing autonomously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks efficiently. Fluency in English is required for this position.
