Care Team Leader

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
You will play a key role in delivering quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. This will involve supporting the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including free training and development opportunities, access to wellbeing and support tools, and retail discounts and savings.
As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training and professional development. Many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
