About the Job

IC Resources is looking for a skilled RF Systems Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh. The role involves working with a leading satellite communications company, where you will be responsible for designing and developing RF systems.

You will need to create detailed system requirements based on customer specifications, ensure that these requirements meet relevant regulatory standards, and define RF system board layout floorplans and strategies.

Additionally, you will lead RF system integration and debugging activities, develop algorithms for the control of RF blocks, and collaborate with other teams to integrate and validate algorithms.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering degree (BSc or MSc).
  • RF and system modeling experience.
  • Algorithm development skills.
  • System integration and prototyping experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PCB layout experience.
  • Link budget calculation skills.
  • Keysight SystemVue familiarity.
  • RF Systems or Communications Theory degree (MSc or PhD).

Estimated Salary: £65,000 per annum.
