Job Title: Senior Radio Frequency Design Engineer

Location: Edinburgh, UK

Estimated Salary: £65/hour (Inside IR35)

Contract Duration: 6-month contract

Company Overview:

Advanced Resource Managers has partnered with a leading Aerospace client to find an experienced Senior RF Design Engineer to join their growing Electronics team in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the full hardware lifecycle for products, from concept through design, prototyping, testing, integration, and support in production.
  • Create multifunctional RF PCB and Module designs using cutting-edge technologies, enhancing knowledge of key design and manufacturing processes.
  • Capture and manage project requirements.
  • Carry out detailed design activities from requirements capture to verification.
  • Conduct design reviews and implement lifecycle management strategies.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related science (e.g. Physics).
  • Knowledge of Microwave PCB materials and design techniques.
  • Microwave Sub-System Design.
  • Design tools – e.g. AWR, VSS, ADS, Systemvue, Matlab.
  • Simulation techniques – e.g. CST.
  • GaAs/GaN MMIC design and application.
  • RF Synthesiser design using DDS and PLL technologies.
  • RF downconverter and digitiser design.
  • Technical report writing skills.
