Stock and Operations Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Stock and Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store, including inventory management, store maintenance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and dispatching stock.
- Ensure the store is well-organized and tidy, with a focus on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Monitor and manage stock returns, client repairs, and items out on consignment.
- Manage and execute stock returns to warehouse, internal transfers, and client shipments, including import/export documentation.
- Minimize stock loss by preventing negatives and crossovers, ensuring our product is protected from damage, and implementing procedures to prevent mis-management of stock by the team.
- Undertake regular departmental stock counts and follow-up investigations.
- Take ownership of picking, packing, and shipping e-commerce orders, including the management of returns.
- Perform daily floor checks and report any maintenance and H&S issues or potential risks.
- Manage store maintenance, including supervision of contractors for regular services and reporting of any ad-hoc issues.
- Test intruder and fire alarms in line with company policy.
- Monitor and report on H&S and environmental issues, including annual external audits.
- Manage beverages and other store consumables.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of luxury retail store operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Flexible to work early mornings and occasional late nights, especially during inventory and peak season.
- Able to effectively prioritize and manage competing priorities.
- Independent and proactive attitude, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
