About the Role

Mitie is seeking a highly skilled Hygiene Services Director to lead the implementation of a food hygiene contract in Grimsby. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-care food environments and implementing processes to meet BRC food safety standards.

The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of new Cleaning Instruction Cards, setting up areas, tasks, and key inspection points within our electronic system, and developing a Process Confirmation methodology. You will also be responsible for training the Hygiene Manager in payroll activities within Workplace + and implementing an ATP swabbing routine, training staff on its use, and producing weekly reports using software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management roles in food or FMCG manufacturing environments, with experience working with HACCP and BRC audits. A minimum Level 3 Food Safety Qualification is required, with Level 4 being desirable. The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
