Job Description:

Cost Accounting Manager (Price Auditing)

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Manager to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the budget and hourly rate process, as well as providing essential Controlling support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the budget and hourly rate process for functions, including budgetary control, timesheet recording, capex reporting, internal controls, and recovery management.
  • Prepare and optimize hourly rates in preparation for negotiation with external price audit customers, including the UK MOD and ESA (European Space Agency).
  • Act as an interface between technical accounting and Functional/PL finance.
  • Provide Controlling support for designated areas, including budget preparation, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Manage and support the team in line with Airbus Values.

About You:

  • You will possess vast experience within Cost Accounting and Price Auditing.
  • You will have strong leadership experience and SAP proficiency.
  • You will have experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, including customer price audit and external auditors.
