About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance and Payroll Administrator to support our financial and payroll processes on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accurate and timely invoices and follow up on unpaid invoices.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to prepare weekly payment runs.
  • Liaise with external providers for payroll, pension schemes, and employee benefits.
  • Accurately process Attachment of Earnings (AoE) Orders.
  • Send third-party payment schedules in accordance with payroll.
  • Run reports from the Payroll System and provide information to pension providers.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of calculations, working with School Business Managers, HR Manager, and payroll provider.
  • Process payroll salary journals and recurring financial journals into the finance system.
  • Transfer local school income into the central bank account monthly.
  • Track monthly checklist returns and update KPIs for review.

Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent.
  • AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a finance role within a small to medium-sized organization.
  • Experience with BPS and EduPay software.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial processes.
