Job Title: Senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse
Job Summary:
The Forward Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and psychosocial interventions to patients admitted to our service. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to individuals with complex needs.
About the Role:
As a Senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing interventions and support for drug and alcohol users with complex needs as part of a recovery plan
- Participating in effective assessment of care needs, providing a high standard of care to clients in keeping with the philosophy and operational policies of the service
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care using a problem-solving approach that ensures the needs of each individual patient are met throughout their admission
- Participating in delivering training on substance misuse issues to wider stakeholders
