We are seeking a highly skilled Property Services Manager to lead and deliver exceptional property services for a well-established, customer-focused housing provider in Cornwall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring property services are managed effectively and in line with regulatory and statutory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage the delivery of responsive and cyclical maintenance services, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.
* Oversee health and safety compliance, contractor management, and the cost-effective delivery of works.
* Work with the finance team to manage budgets, explore funding opportunities, and ensure procurement delivers value for money.
* Lead on stock condition surveys and the preparation of lifecycle and business planning.
* Ensure accurate data management and reporting across all property services.
* Contribute to strategic planning around property services and attend relevant board and committee meetings.
**Requirements**
* Significant experience in property management or building services, with at least 5 years in a customer-focused environment.
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage building safety, compliance, and repairs.
* Proven experience in managing budgets, delivering cost-effective solutions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* A proactive, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience managing or working alongside teams, contractors, and other service providers.
**Skills & Qualifications**
* Relevant professional qualifications and/or significant experience in a property services role.
* Financial and budget management experience.
* A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Strong IT and data management skills, with experience using property management software.
* A full driving license and the ability to travel across Cornwall.
