Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Electrician to join our team as a Field Engineer. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and supporting our products in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service our products at customer sites, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Conduct survey visits to identify suitable solutions for customers.
  • Perform QA visits to ensure our products and peripherals are functioning correctly.
  • Manage inventory and maintain the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and provided tools/equipment.
  • Liaise with customers at all levels, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with peers and contractor resources as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and professional administration, adhering to internal processes and procedures.
  • Report on statistical information as required.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with expertise in auto electrics and/or telematics.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules.
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret them.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a professional approach.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to relevant audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and adhere to agreed processes.
  • Take pride in work, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Valid Passport for travel.
Working Pattern

Our Field Engineers work shifts on a rota basis, including weekends, to suit the requirements of our customers. Full details regarding our working patterns can be discussed at the interview stage.

This is a field-based role covering the Swindon region, with occasional visits to our Head Office in Nottingham.
