Job Title: Automotive Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our team at Microlise. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and support of our products in the Swindon region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit customer sites to undertake installation, service, and support of Microlise products
  • Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions
  • Conduct QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets
  • Manage inventory and ensure the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and tools
  • Liaise with customers at all levels and provide support to peers and contractors
  • Ensure administration is concise, accurate, and professional
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures
  • Report on statistical information as required
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in auto electrics and/or telematics
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret them
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently
  • Take pride in work, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Valid Passport for travel
