About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Interv_l Group | B Corp™. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by securing bus and coach rental agreements with national bus and coach operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Target Potential Clients

You will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients within the national bus and coach operator market. This will involve conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and developing strategies to reach key decision-makers.

Develop and Maintain Relationships

You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement managers, fleet managers, and operations directors. This will involve building trust, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their operational requirements and budgets.

Present and Negotiate Agreements

You will present and negotiate bus and coach rental agreements, ensuring alignment with the client's operational requirements and budgets. This will involve leveraging your knowledge of PCV vehicles to provide tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Work with Internal Teams

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of rental agreements, from initial proposal to contract signing. This will involve collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Monitor Market Trends

You will monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. This will involve staying up-to-date with industry developments, analyzing market data, and developing strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

Achieve Sales Targets

You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the company. This will involve setting goals, tracking progress, and developing strategies to meet and exceed targets.

Requirements
  • Proven Experience

You will have proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the bus and coach industry. This will involve demonstrating a track record of success in identifying and targeting new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Industry Knowledge

You will have a strong understanding of PCV vehicles and their applications within public and private sectors. This will involve demonstrating knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Relationship Building

You will have demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders. This will involve building trust, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their operational requirements and budgets.

Communication Skills

You will have excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. This will involve being able to articulate complex ideas, build rapport with clients, and negotiate agreements that meet their needs.

Results-Oriented

You will be results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. This will involve setting goals, tracking progress, and developing strategies to meet and exceed targets.

Team Player

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team. This will involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of rental agreements, from initial proposal to contract signing.

Valid UK Driving License

You will have a valid UK driving license, which is essential for this role.
