Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at Tesco Property Maintenance. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems across our estate.
Your primary focus will be on carrying out quality technical assessments and audits to identify and diagnose potential issues with refrigeration equipment and systems. You will also be responsible for reviewing planned maintenance and reactive works to ensure they are completed to a high standard.
In addition, you will be required to identify trends and possible concerns with store refrigeration systems, providing detailed reports as necessary. You will work closely with our Operations and Maintenance Managers to ensure that our field engineers have the right level of skills and expertise to work safely and provide first-rate asset management across our estate.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out technical assessments and audits of refrigeration equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
- Review planned maintenance and reactive works to ensure they are completed to a high standard.
- Identify trends and possible concerns with store refrigeration systems and provide detailed reports as necessary.
- Work closely with Operations and Maintenance Managers to ensure that field engineers have the right level of skills and expertise.
- Support and update information regarding the estate Refrigeration Asset Database.
- Proactively manage task workflow in conjunction with Tableau data (online reporting portal).
- Support change within the business to ensure continuously improved (CI) performance.
- Refrigeration mechanical/electrical engineering background, preferably with a knowledge of retail "supermarket" refrigeration.
- Great team working experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CPC - Refrigeration leak detection/controls, or other fixed leak detection systems.
- IMS Evolve system monitoring.
