Production Operative

We are seeking a Production Operative to join our team at Natures Way Foods. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective throughput of product in the working area, while meeting customer quality expectations and adhering to Food Safety/Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include working on our food production lines, preparing various fresh produce for labelling, chopping and preparing fresh produce, picking and packing products, loading and unloading product onto the production lines, and operating specialised machinery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work under pressure and to hard deadlines. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are also essential. A dynamic and flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn and solve problems, is also required.

Shift Pattern
We operate a nights only shift pattern from 6pm - 6am. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period. Typically, you will work as follows: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday. An additional £2,200 pa shift allowance is also available for working days and nights.
