About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our team as a Clinical Team Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of critical care nursing at Band 6 level or above, with previous management experience desirable.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Lead Nurse and Operational Manager in the leadership and daily management of the department and team.
  • Develop a vision for the services development and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience of change management and excellent communication skills are essential.

Essential

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)
  • Degree
  • Post-registration critical care course
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Up-to-date ALS and EPLS competence

Desirable

  • Diploma/Certificate in Leadership/Management
  • Masters Degree

Experience and Knowledge

Essential

  • Clinical experience at level Band 6 or above
  • Previous Departmental Management experience
  • Knowledge of audit process and research-based practice.
  • Understanding of budget and resource management

Desirable

  • Evidence of conflict management
  • Practice in a changing environment
