About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC). As a key member of our Future Marine Research Infrastructure (FMRI) Programme Office, you'll play a vital role in developing and delivering a forward-looking communications plan that drives the realization of FMRI's vision for a world-class research infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own a comprehensive communications strategy that maps stakeholders, shapes messaging, and identifies optimal channels for effective communication.
  • Lead the creation of compelling and accessible content that supports the FMRI transformation, working collaboratively with the leadership team, programme office, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate leadership and ownership in driving change through tactical thinking and strategic planning.
About You

You'll be an experienced communications professional with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing communications strategies that drive impact. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, while your ability to think creatively will be essential in developing engaging content that resonates with various audiences.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
