Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Islington, North London. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students aged 10-11 and preparing them for their SATs exams. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a lovely team of teachers in a supportive and nurturing work environment that values open communication and professionalism.

Salary: Estimated £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role:

  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate a conducive learning environment
  • Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching
