We require a Personal Support Companion to work closely with a friendly lady in Norwich who requires assistance with various activities due to her health issues and limited mobility.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing personal support and care to individuals with Autism, health issues, and limited mobility. They should also have good communication skills, a sense of humour, and be an animal lover.

The role involves providing general personal care, supporting the client to get out and about, assisting with cooking and meal preparation, and helping with household tasks.

A driver with own car and appropriate insurance is required, as well as the ability to accommodate a wheelchair.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and feeding
  2. Supporting the client to get out and about, including driving and transfers
  3. Assisting with cooking and meal preparation, including preparing hot meals
  4. Helping with household tasks, including cleaning and laundry

The successful candidate will have a warm and empathetic approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour. You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.

Hours and times of work: 16 hrs weekly, 2 X 8hr days. Days and times flexible and can be negotiated.
