Senior Staff Nurse - Specialist SACT Oncology and Haematology

Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team as a Specialist SACT Oncology and Haematology Nurse. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with various haematological cancers and solid tumours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer systemic anti-cancer therapy and supportive treatments
  • Assist with Holistic Needs Assessments
  • Complete UKONS triage and assessments
  • Provide care for acute oncological and haematological emergencies
  • Interact with practitioners from other departments
  • Educate patients in the management of their care
  • Assist with outpatient consultant clinics

Requirements:

  • NMC registered and a qualified nurse
  • UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 6 months SACT administration experience
  • Proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation, and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
  • Competent in UKONS triage
