Nuffield Health is seeking experienced Clinical Coders to join our team on a hybrid working basis. As a Clinical Coder, you will provide an expert Clinical Coding service for all 37 Nuffield Health hospitals, working across a range of specialties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely Clinical Coding services for hospital episodes
  • Assign ICD-10 and OPCS-4 codes to hospital episodes, covering NHS and privately funded activity
  • Code activity from a wide range of clinical specialties
  • Provide coding expertise as required by the business
  • Respond professionally to queries from hospitals and consultant surgeons
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Clinical Coder in a healthcare environment
  • Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status desirable
  • Good knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS-4 coding classifications
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to sustain high volume and high-quality work product, with strong attention to detail
