About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Systems Specialist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £45,359 per annum (including HCAS).

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining clinical systems, including the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) application. They will work closely with clinicians, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet these requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clinicians and healthcare professionals to gather requirements for EPR system development
  • Developing and testing clinical applications in partnership with the applications team
  • Supporting the Clinical Development Team to ensure accurate testing and documentation
  • Creating guideline documents, training materials, and policies to support EPR use
  • Serving as a specialist system information resource for healthcare professionals using EPR
