Brighton, Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd Full time

A challenging yet rewarding role awaits in our integrated childcare and education provision. As a Therapeutic Support Assistant, you will work collaboratively with special needs class teachers to create an environment that fosters learning and growth.

With a focus on therapeutic models and reflective practice, you will develop your understanding of each child's unique emotional, social, and learning difficulties. You will adapt the learning environment and delivery pace to address barriers and promote engagement, ensuring each child gains maximum benefit from their teacher's curriculum delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year's proven experience in residential child care or social care, along with a reasonable understanding of current childcare legislation and cost awareness. A full driving licence and relevant qualification in childcare and education are also essential.

We offer a comprehensive training package worth £3,000 and opportunities for additional duties and bonus payments, which can significantly increase your earning potential. Our employee group healthcare scheme and company-paid sickness allowance provide peace of mind, while our commitment to investing in your continuous professional development is unwavering.

As a Therapeutic Support Assistant, you will be part of a close-knit team working therapeutically with children who have complex needs. Your creativity, self-awareness, and motivated approach will make you an invaluable asset to our organisation.
