Imperium Search: Associate Director, Loan Asset Management

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Loan Asset Management team. The successful candidate will work closely with our key clients to manage a portfolio of bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Asset Management: Monitor and report on CRE asset management and loan asset management strategies, including performing and non-performing loans.
  • Credit Risk Management: Provide advice and recommendations to the Lender credit function on watch-listed and non-performing loans.
  • Risk Assessment: Undertake risk assessments of individual loans, underlying collateral, and Borrower to determine risk ratings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Work closely with clients to manage relationships and ensure accurate reporting and information exchange.
  • Loan Documentation: Review finance documents prior to loan closing and throughout the loan's life.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with borrowers, Facility Agents, and project monitors to ensure accurate reporting and information exchange.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in loan management, with knowledge of the European commercial real estate finance sector.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical skills, with intermediate to advanced Excel abilities.
  • Team Management: Experience managing a team of individuals is helpful but not essential.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential.
