Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Exeter

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs, autism, and high levels of anxiety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging learning activities
  • Mentor students and help them unlock their potential
  • Cover classes when needed and lead targeted interventions

Requirements:

  • Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with young people in the UK
  • Sound understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support young people
  • Confident in leading a class and managing challenging behaviour

About the Role:

This is a flexible role, working Monday to Friday, term time only. We also have other opportunities on a longer term basis. You will be working in a supportive environment with small class sizes and a tailored learning setting.
