About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the Defence, Medical, High-end Industrial & Transportation sectors. This role requires a results-driven individual with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and the ability to present and negotiate at a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary owner for key accounts within the Group's Strategic Customer portfolio, developing senior-level strategic relationships to deliver new business opportunities, programs, and product introductions across the Europe Sales region.
  • Identify customer opportunities to deliver business development and growth to the Fairford Site and wider TT group through collaborative cross-selling.
  • Maintain regular, frequent contact with designated major and prospective customers and strategically important key personnel and decision-makers within those accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify new opportunities, conduct high-quality research, and prepare dedicated customer presentation materials.
  • Negotiate commercially driven orders with a focus on margin and strategic alignment with the wider TT Group.
  • Manage regular QBR meetings with assigned accounts and present updated KPI metrics.
  • Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets as set by the Business Development Director.
  • Maintain records of active customer accounts using the CRM (Salesforce) system.
  • Analyze the success of business development pipeline opportunities and share intelligence with the wider Sales Organization.
  • Provide feedback on changing customer requirements and recommend courses of action to the Sales Director.
  • Represent TT Electronics at Trade Shows, showcasing the wider TT product and solutions portfolio.

Our Recruitment Process:

We will reach out to you for an informal conversation about the role, allowing you to ask questions and learn more about TT, our site, and our team. Formal interviews will be held on site, including a tour of the facility. Due to the specific projects TT Electronics supports, we are unable to sponsor work visas for this role. Candidates will be required to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard Clearance and hold UK or US citizenship. Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre- and during-employment drug and alcohol testing.
