Job Summary:
Neway International Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of School-Based Youth Justice Prevention Officer. This position is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people to improve their attendance in school and engagement in their education placement.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including schools, safeguarding teams, healthcare providers, CAMHS, and the Police, to achieve the best outcomes for children in education settings.
- Develop and implement creative, strengths-based approaches to working with children and families.
- Provide regular supervision and support to enhance skills, knowledge, and experience of working with additional support needs in education settings.
- Work closely with the community to support young people and their families, with the ability to work from home at times where the demands of the duties allow.
Requirements:
- Car driver or access to appropriate transport to travel citywide.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the needs of young people and their families.
